Tom Bennett grew up in the farm country west of Atlanta, GA. He was given his first blues harp at age 9 by an old woman from W.V. and learned to play in the hayfields on Eagle Crest Ranch. His great grandfather was a country & folk singer who once graced the stage at the Grand Ole Opry and later died in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn after his final show. Tom picked up the guitar April 7, 2013 and has since performed at the Utah March Against Monsanto, Earth Day, and at the largest clean air rally in U.S History. He is constantly touring (closing in on almost all 50 states!) and his new CD has received rave reviews: "The Man Who Shook The Trail of The Devil's Hounds." He plays slide on a fender resonator, blues harp, sings and plays percussion on suitcase and tambourine with his feet. He intends to stay on the road till the day he dies, in the family tradition.
